LET THE GAMES BEGIN

We lose some and we win some.

The games that were played in ancient India were not merely for passing the time. They reflected India's intellectual, physical n spiritual outlook.

There are so many games mentioned in our ancient scriptures and epics like chaupar, kabbadi, kho kho n so on.

This production showcases several games that were played in ancient India well as the present day. Games are used as a metaphor for life in this production.

The universe is a playground and parallels between life and games are a constant theme of this presentation.

Games are an intrinsic part of every culture and civilization.

But ultimately we go back to where we came from. So let's make the most of it and play the game of life well.

This production is conceptualised and choreographed by Bharatanatyam dancer smt. Namita Bodaji. Music by sri Sivaprasad NN. Performed by smt Namita Bodaji and dancers of Samskara Academy of Fine Arts.
